1. Service bookings

When you book a service through the site we may process your name, phone number, vehicle details (make, model, plate number), the booking date/time, the requested services and other information needed to arrange the service.

Data is used to register and confirm the booking, contact you, send notifications and deliver the service. Booking data is kept, as a rule, for 3 years from the last interaction.

2. Online store orders

When you place an order we may process your name, phone, email, delivery/billing address, ordered items, order value and history, and the chosen payment/delivery method.

Data is used to confirm and fulfil the order, process payment, deliver, communicate with you, handle returns and meet accounting obligations. Order data is kept, as a rule, for 5 years; accounting/tax documents per legal retention periods.

3. Personal account

For your account we may process your name, phone, email, securely stored login data, and your order/booking history.

Account data is kept while the account is active. After 3 years of inactivity it may be deactivated or deleted, except data required by law. You may request deletion at any time.

4. Reviews

By publishing a review you consent to processing the name/alias you provide, the review text and the rating. Reviews that infringe third-party rights or contain illegal, offensive or promotional content may be removed. Reviews are kept, as a rule, for up to 5 years.

5. "Notify me when available"

Using this feature we process the phone and/or email you provide and the related product. Data is used solely to send the notification and is deleted after sending it, or within 6 months at the latest if the item doesn't come back in stock.

6. Other inquiries

When you contact us via site forms, email or other channels we process your name, contact details and the message content to handle and answer your request. Correspondence is kept, as a rule, for 3 years after resolution.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

theride.md uses cookies.

• Necessary cookies — run the cart, session, sign-in and site security. Not used for analytics or marketing, and can't be switched off.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel) — load only after you consent via the cookie banner. Declining doesn't affect the site's core functions.
• Consent is valid for 6 months, after which you may be asked to confirm it again. You can change or withdraw it anytime via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

8. Data recipients

TRIS SRL does not sell personal data. To the extent necessary to run the site, data may be shared with hosting, IT, SMS and payment providers, couriers, analytics providers (see section 7) and public authorities where required by law.

9. Transfers outside Moldova

Using certain technical or analytics services may involve processing data outside Moldova, only under the safeguards required by applicable law.

10. Data security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk level to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or unlawful use.

11. Your rights

Where the law provides, you have the right to:

• get information about and access to your data;
• request correction of inaccurate data;
• request deletion or restriction of processing;
• object to processing;
• request data portability, where applicable;
• withdraw consent at any time — without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

12. Right to complain

If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you may contact Moldova's National Centre for Personal Data Protection and/or the competent court.

13. Changes to this Policy

This Policy may be updated periodically, including when the law or the site's functionality changes. The current version is always available on this page.
